Con4Mare receives DAkkS accreditation for Offshore Project Certification
Con4Mare has received accreditation from the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065 for offshore project certification.
This accreditation confirms Con4Mare’s competence, impartiality, and consistent operation as an independent certification body for conducting comprehensive conformity assessments and certification services for offshore projects. The services offered cover all phases of an offshore wind project’s lifecycle, including site assessment, design review, manufacturing surveillance, transport and installation monitoring, and commissioning. These certification services ensure that constructed offshore structures meet regulatory requirements, allowing for the issuance of the necessary project certificates.
“The accreditation by DAkkS is an important milestone for Con4Mare,” says Andreas Puls, one of the Managing Directors. “It confirms our ability to act as an independent certification body and to ensure the safety and integrity of offshore projects.”
Alexander Vogel, founder and Managing Director of Con4Mare, adds, “With this accreditation, we are expanding our service portfolio and offering our customers even more comprehensive support. We not only ensure that offshore projects comply with the highest international standards but also contribute to the sustainability and development of the industry.”
The accreditation covers a range of national and international guidelines and complies with ISO/IEC standard 17065, which came into effect in 2012, replacing ISO/IEC Guide 65 and the corresponding European standard DIN EN 45011. This standard sets out the requirements for the competence, impartiality, and consistency of certification bodies, ensuring that the certifications they conduct are globally recognized and trustworthy.
